Productive last working bee of the year at the Porepunkah confluence site.
Over 100 native trees – mostly 3m or more – released from corflute tree guards and swathes of caper spurge removed.

Still work to be done as this is a vast site with well thousands of native trees planted on both sides of the Ovens River. We aim to eradicate weeds and re-establish a native canopy in these important riparian areas.
Next step is targeted weed control this month throughout the site by NECMA.
