Our plans for the winter planting season this year were to plant, protect and maintain our many project sites in Harrietville (with the local primary school and Alpine Shire Council), Freeburgh (at our National Tree Day 2025 plantings with Parks Victoria), Wandiligong (with the primary school and Alpine Shire Council), Bright (with Bright College and Alpine Shire Council), Porepunkah (various sites with the primary school, Alpine Shire Council, the Australian Trout Foundation). We also held a field day with Global Green to evaluate our move to biodegradable tree guards instead of corflute plastic. We also supported the Ovens Landcare network with a workshop and sample collection in Bright to ascertain where platypus are found in Bright, Harrietville and Wandiligong.
