Report from Martyn Paterson, Vice President UOVLG.
If you go down to the woods today you’re in for a big surprise. The wonderful faries from Wandi Primary School have planted another 50 indigenous trees, bushes and grasses beside Morses Creek at The Diggings.
They are on target for their commitment to plant 1000 trees. The students and staff showed their usual enthusiasm for the task and in learning of the importance of these plants to the local environment.
They were ably supported by the Wandiligong teaching staff and Graham, Sarah and Yvonne from Upper Ovens Valley Landcare Group.
